1.0 Executive Summary
SwiftGo Logistics is a
fast, reliable, and tech-driven courier and last-mile delivery service located
in Lagos State, Nigeria. The business will operate across key neighborhoods in
Lagos such as Ikeja, Lekki, Yaba, Surulere, and Lagos Island, focusing on small
parcel delivery, document dispatch, ecommerce deliveries, express same-day
services, and inter-city dispatch via bikes and vans.
Our services will target individuals, small
businesses, ecommerce vendors, food delivery startups, and corporate clients.
With the continuous growth of ecommerce and remote business operations in
Nigeria, there is a rising need for dependable, technology-enhanced courier
services—especially in traffic-congested cities like Lagos.
SwiftGo Logistics will bridge this gap by providing
app-based bookings, real-time tracking, dedicated riders, reliable customer
support, and competitive pricing. We will also integrate with popular ecommerce
platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce for automated order processing.
The business will start with 5 dispatch bikes,
2 delivery vans, 8 full-time staff, and a central coordination
hub in Ikeja, with plans to expand into other states over the next 3 years.
1.1 Vision Statement:
To become Nigeria’s most trusted courier brand for on-time and secure
deliveries, powered by innovation and exceptional customer service.
1.2 Mission Statement:
To simplify deliveries across Nigeria through technology, timeliness, and
trustworthy personnel while providing economic empowerment to logistics
professionals.
1.3 Business Objectives (Year 1–3):
- Complete
over 36,000 successful deliveries in year one.
- Partner
with at least 250 ecommerce businesses and SMEs within Lagos.
- Achieve
monthly revenue exceeding ₦3.5 million by month 6.
- Expand
to 10 additional dispatch bikes and 5 vans by year 2.
2.0 Company Description
SwiftGo Logistics is a limited liability company that will be
registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and fully
compliant with NIPOST courier regulations and Lagos State transportation
licensing.
We will operate as a hybrid courier company offering:
- Intra-state
delivery: Within Lagos (same-day and express).
- Inter-state
delivery: Lagos to other cities (Abuja, Ibadan, Port
Harcourt).
- Dedicated
business accounts: For ecommerce vendors and SMEs.
- Real-time
tracking platform: Customers can monitor their packages.
- Payment
integration: Paystack, Flutterwave, and POS on delivery.
Our business model is asset-light in the long term, but we will start
with our own owned fleet to ensure quality control and operational consistency.
